You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect our Platform and users.

Ticket Sales

When you purchase tickets through our Platform:

• You enter into a contract directly with the event organizer
• We facilitate the transaction but are not a party to the sale
• All ticket sales are final unless otherwise specified by the organizer
• Ticket prices, availability, and terms are set by the event organizer

Event Responsibility

Event organizers are solely responsible for:

• Event content, scheduling, and execution
• Venue arrangements and accessibility
• Refund and cancellation policies
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Customer service related to their events

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policies are determined by individual event organizers. We do not guarantee refunds for any events. In case of event cancellation, we will work with organizers to process refunds according to their stated policies.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Engage in fraudulent activities or ticket scalping
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

Content Standards

All content you post must be respectful, appropriate, and comply with our community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.

Organizer Responsibilities

As an event organizer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete event information
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Obtain necessary permits and licenses
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• Handle customer service for your events
• Process refunds according to your stated policies
• Respect intellectual property rights

Service Fees

We charge service fees for ticket sales processed through our Platform. These fees are clearly disclosed during the event creation process and are deducted from your ticket sales revenue.

Payout Terms

Event proceeds will be transferred to your designated account according to our payout schedule, minus applicable fees and any chargebacks or refunds.

Our Rights

The African Vibes Platform, including its design, functionality, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Platform without permission.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary to provide our services. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.

Copyright Infringement

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact us with details of the alleged infringement.

Platform Availability

We provide our Platform "as is" and make no warranties about its availability, reliability, or functionality. We may suspend or discontinue services at any time.

Third-Party Content

We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of events, content, or services provided by third parties on our Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

In case of disputes:

• First, contact us to attempt informal resolution
• If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• Arbitration will be conducted in Houston, Texas
• You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits

Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or other urgent matters that cannot wait for arbitration.
